Background :
Marco is a Renewable Energy expert and project finance development professional. In his last job at GE Renewables, he advised/led various workstreams for the origination and development of onshore wind projects totalling over 1.5 GW across the globe. He also established the team modelling & analytics capabilities for both financial and strategy/portfolio investment modelling.
Previously, Marco spent over 11 years mostly within the Renewable Energy Markets & Sustainability sectors, working with a variety of renewable energy technologies, including onshore and offshore wind, solar PV and CSP. He holds an Executive MBA from Bayes Business School, an MEng by research (decision-making modelling for renewable energy assets) from Cork Institute Technology (Ireland), and a Masters Degree (Environmental
Engineering) from Palermo University (Italy). Marco has authored 20+ technical/market intelligence reports and scientific publications about renewable energy technologies.
